Connect rates & data cost

Cut your premium data bill by ~80%.

The connect-rate industry sells you expensive mobile data and charges again to tell you which of it still works. scraperCRM flips the order: dial fresh public numbers first, qualify as you go, and buy premium cell data only for the few contacts you couldn't reach any other way.

The premium-data tax

You're paying to clean a list you haven't qualified.

Tools like these exist because premium mobile data is expensive and decays fast — so they charge you again to score which numbers are still alive. Published rates run roughly $0.50 to $2.00 per contact, billed across your whole list, up front, before you've worked a single lead.

01

Scrub-then-dial

You pay per contact to score the entire list — including the ~80% you'll never actually work.

02

Data that decays

Mobile databases are snapshots. The scoring industry only exists because the underlying data goes stale.

03

A dead end for info

A cell number rings the person or it doesn't. Either way you learn nothing new about the account.

Our approach

Qualify first. Then pay only for what's left.

Three steps, and each one makes the next cheaper.

01Fresh public data

Scrape live numbers straight from Google Maps and company websites. A business publishes its number so customers can call — so it's live by definition, and it costs you nothing extra to dial.

02The dialthrough pass

Segment a list and rip through it to qualify. Here the gatekeeper is an asset, not an obstacle — a real person you can ask: "Is Brian still the buyer? Is his email right? When's he in?" Every call sharpens your data.

03Premium cell — as fallback

For the residual you genuinely couldn't reach publicly, premium cell data is right there in the app. You buy it for a handful of verified-worthwhile contacts — not the whole list.

The flywheel

Cheap public dials plus gatekeeper enrichment tell you which contacts even deserve premium data — so the premium bill shrinks to a fraction, and every pass makes your own records fresher, reducing what you need to buy next time.

What does "qualify first" save you?

Adjust the inputs. The maths is just: pay per contact for your whole list, versus paying only for the slice you couldn't reach publicly.

£0.50 ≈ a typical published $0.50/contact rate; premium tools run roughly $0.50–$2.00.

80%

The share you can qualify from public numbers, so you never buy premium data for them.

Scrub everything (their model) £3,000
Qualify then buy (scraperCRM) £600
You save80% £2,400

per month, on premium data alone

Illustrative. Per-contact rates are the connect-scoring tools' own published US list prices; your actual public-reachability depends on vertical and list quality. The dialer, CRM and scraper are included in scraperCRM — this compares the premium data line item only.

An honest note on "connect rate"

It means two things, and we won't pretend otherwise.

A

Public line

Someone at the business answers. Higher raw connect rate, near-zero data cost — but you may go through a gatekeeper. For SMEs sourced from Google Maps (our sweet spot), that "gatekeeper" is often the owner, or one step away.

B

Direct-dial cell

The target person answers. Skips the gatekeeper, but connects less often, costs a premium per contact, and the data decays. Best reserved for contacts you couldn't reach publicly.

Our point isn't that gatekeepers are free — it's that the cheapest, freshest, most-informative path is the public one, and premium cell phone earns its cost only as a targeted fallback.

We'll scrape a fresh list in your vertical, run a dialthrough pass, and show you exactly where premium data is — and isn't — worth buying.
